  25. Although the "AsiaWinSave!" screen saver is a complete product in itself,
  26. it also serves as level 1 of the "GeoWinSave!" screen saver package.
  27.  
  28. Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "GeoWinSave!" with your
  29. registration of "AsiaWinSave!".  The cost is $14.75, payable in US
  30. dollars.  Please add a $2.25 handling fee for orders from outside the US.
  31. You should use the file "ordgesav.txt" to order the software.  If you do
  32. not use the order form, be sure to clearly indicate that you need the
  33. Windows version of the geography screen saver.  CompuServe members can

  36. "GeoWinSave!" comes with screen saver modules for the following areas:
  37.     North America, South America, Africa,
  38.     Western Europe, Asia, Central America,
  39.     Southeast Asia, Australia, Canada,
  40.     the United States and the World.

  42. HOW TO INSTALL THE SCREEN SAVER
  43.  
  44. This screen saver will run on Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and 
  45. Windows NT.
  46.  
  47. To install the "AsiaWinSave!" screen saver you only need to copy a 
  48. single file called "asiasav.scr" from this diskette to your hard drive.
  49. You must do this manually, there is no installation software provided.  
  50.  
  51. The directory that you copy the file to depends on the version 
  52. of Windows that you are running.  This directory will be one of:
  53. c:\windows           (Windows 3.x)
  54. c:\windows\system    (Windows 95)
  55. c:\winntxx\system32    (Windows NT, version xx)

  57. HOW TO ACTIVATE THE SCREEN SAVER
  58. The method to activate the "AsiaWinSave!" screen saver depends on
  59. the version of Windows that you are running.
  60.  
  61. For Windows 3.x and Windows NT (for some versions of NT you may
  62. need to follow the activate instructions for Windows 95):
  63. 1)  Double click the Windows "Control Panel" icon in the 
  64.     "Main" window.
  65. 2)  Double click the "Desktop" icon.
  66. 3)  Choose "AsiaWinSave!" in the screen saver pull down box.
  67. 4)  Select "OK"

  70. 1)  Click the "Control Panel" icon.
  71. 2)  Click the "Display" icon.
  72. 3)  Click the "Screen Saver" tab.
  73. 4)  Select "AsiaWinSave!" from the screen saver pull down list.

  75. Note that you can change "AsiaWinSave!" default settings by pressing 
  76. the "Setup" button from the Desktop.  You can disable map rotation
  77. and you can turn off the map labels if desired.  You can also 
  78. change the animation speed of the moving maps.  Password protection 
  79. is also provided.

  81. NOTES ON THE MAPS

  83. The "AsiaWinSave!" screen saver repeatedly cycles through the 
  84. countries of Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, until 
  85. interrupted by a mouse or keyboard action.

  88. authoritative.

  92. "AsiaWinSave!" requires a 100% compatible IBM computer, Windows 
  93. 3.1 or later, and a VGA monitor or better.  "AsiaWinSave!" runs on 
  94. Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows NT.

  98. The "AsiaWinSave!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by 
  99. anyone, to anyone, any number of times, without royalty, to or from 
  100. any machine or disk, for any reason.  Please pass it along to friends,

  102. not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble this software.
